Bangkok Beats is a giant mural collaboration between two street artists of different generations. Located at Level B1 of The Storeys at One Bangkok, it is based around the retail zone’s key concept, “Tell Your Own Story,” which encourages all to discover, experiment and freely express themselves. BIGDEL, who belongs to a pioneering generation of Thai graffiti artists, fuses the beats of city life into his painting of cheerful, smiley cartoon characters interspersed with phrases in old-school letterings. His signature sharp and fluid lines make the work stand out as a vibrant depiction of street life mirroring the diversity of people in a big city. MRKREME, who hails from a younger generation, channelled the 1990s to depict a fantasy sonic factory where colourful furry monsters turn imagination into music and break through a wall into the heart of Bangkok—a city full of adventure and spectacle.

The mural represents an intergenerational dialogue between two artists who come together to celebrate urban culture and music. Located at Level B1 of The Storeys at One Bangkok, Bangkok Beats is ready to awaken the creative energy within passersby and inspire them to tell their own stories.
