In the early hours of Sunday, 7 June 2026, the lush green One Bangkok Park was transformed into a vibrant arena to celebrate inclusivity with "One Bangkok One Pride One Run 2026". Set in the heart of Bangkok, this running event was brimming with positive energy, joy, and fellowship, championing the core belief that 'everyone is a source of pride, whereby every step taken is an expression of unique and equal identity'.

The Power of Diversity

The atmosphere was electric as over 1,000 runners of all genders, ages, backgrounds, and styles converged at One Bangkok Park. Clad in a dazzling array of creative, multi-coloured costumes, participants prepared for the starting whistle alongside lively mascots who spread cheer, greeted runners, and kept spirits high throughout the morning.

To kick off the festivities, the runners including prominent artists, and influencers joined a dynamic warm-up session to energise, led by fitness specialists from Jetts Black.

Following the warm-up, Worawat Srisa-an, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of One Bangkok, addressed the crowd: "The positive energy and brilliant colours brought by over a thousand participants at ‘One Bangkok One Pride One Run 2026’ powerfully reflect our vision of creating ‘The Heart of Bangkok’, a destination truly built for everyone. We are proud to see One Bangkok serve as a platform where people gather to celebrate diversity and express their authentic selves creatively. We remain dedicated to fostering such inclusive experiences and community-building initiatives for all."

Striding Together on the Path of Pride

The atmosphere was full of life and colours, with well-known personalities joining the fun. Leading the way were all members of ATLAS and VVV.  Also adding colour and excitement to the event were influencers including Nutt Nisamanee Lertvorapong, who appeared in eye-catching outfits that celebrated individuality, diversity, and pride. Together, they helped create an atmosphere that truly reflected the spirit of inclusivity and self-expression at the heart of the event.

As the starting horn sounded, thousands of runners surged forward through the ceremonial archway. The 10-kilometre runners set off first at 05:00, heading onto the Green Bridge to connect with Benjakitti Park. They were followed at 05:15 by the 5-kilometre participants, who ran a scenic route around Lumphini Park, before everyone crossed the finish line back at One Bangkok Park.

Having tested their endurance and pushed past personal limits, the runners crossed the finish line with triumphant smiles before joining a collective cool-down session.

After the race, the fun continued with a cool down activity and energetic after-party featuring music by DJ Rhunrun.  Popular T-Pop groups ATLAS and VVV also joined in to welcome the runners, making the whole event feel incredibly warm, happy, and relaxed.

In addition, specially designed commemorative medals were presented to the winners. The champion of the 10-kilometre race was Mr. Maicon Aurecio Correa from Brazil, who completed the course in 47.38 minutes, while Noppawit Phukham claimed first place in the 5-kilometre race with a time of 18.51 minutes. The Best Costume Award was presented to Naritsada Wattanasoontorn, whose creative and eye-catching outfit impressed the judging panel the most.

“One Bangkok One Pride One Run 2026” marked another milestone in One Bangkok’s commitment to fostering equality, embracing diversity, and bringing communities together through shared moments of happiness and friendship. Those who missed out on this year's run can look forward to next year's edition, as One Bangkok intends to make this an annual tradition.
