One Bangkok Co., Ltd, led by Mr. Burin Kunatippapong, Chief Development Officer (4th left) Project Development and Dr. Tirachai Pipitsupaphol, Senior Vice President, (3rd left) Head of Procurement and External Affairs (Service Procurement), presented Care Package of 14 infrared thermometers, first aid kits, and 560 liters of 70% alcohol to leaders from seven neighboring communities of the One Bangkok project. The presentation is part of the effort to monitor and prevent the spread of COVID-19 and promote safe hygiene in the community.

Recognizing the needs of its surrounding communities during the COVID-19 situation, One Bangkok in cooperation with Pathumwan District Office presented a Care Package to the seven neighboring communities including Kularb Daeng, Soi Phra Chen, Pattana Bonkai, Kheha Bonkai, Soi Ruamrudee, Soi Polo and Thepprathan. The Care Package which consists of 14 infrared thermometers and first aid kits, as well as 560-liters of 70% alcohol, will be allocated to the seven communities in support of monitoring and preventing against the outbreak.

Mr. Burin Kunatippapong, Chief Development Officer, Project Development of One Bangkok stated, “One Bangkok realizes the importance of engaging and caring for the surrounding communities and has joined together with Pathumwan District Office in distributing a Care Package comprising of infrared thermometers, 70% alcohol and necessary first aid equipment to benefit those living in the seven neighboring communities in an effort to promote hygiene and sanitization during the outbreak of COVID-19. This Care Package, aligned with the preventative measures guided by the Department of Disease Control under the Ministry of Public Health, will give the community access to essentials in order to reduce the risk of infection and spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Mrs. Masawan Pinsuwan, Director, Pathumwam District Office has said, “As an official representative of the government, our purpose is to develop our community and promotea healthy life for our communities across several facets, including economic, health, social and quality of life. This particular collaboration with the private sector, seen in this tremendous support from One Bangkok, will give people within these seven communities the ability to effectively take care of themselves and keep the spread of COVID-19 to a minimum.”

This contribution further highlights One Bangkok’s engagement with its surrounding communities in healthcare, beyond the running of its ongoing art program and sports activities for youth. One Bangkok’s hope is to further contribute to the development of the flourishing and sustainable surrounding communities through its development stages and beyond.
